My journey with book binding began in 2013 when I was first introduced to the art and history of letterpress, printmaking, and book binding during a short study abroad trip to Italy. 

I attended the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University and

graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2014. In 2016, I opened Lake Michigan Book Press, a bookbinding studio and shop that sells handmade notebooks and sketchbooks.
